MARS project just entered its second year of activity. In the last six months most of the preparatory and structural steps of the projects were implemented, creating the basis for its public development:

• Publication on MARS Website of 3 Intellectual Outputs foreseen: the Needs Analysis, Specialisation Profile and Staff Training Guidelines, now accessible online;

• 2 Transnational Partner Meetings took place (London, 11-12 April and Montespertoli, 13-14 July 2016) to follow up and manage the project development and allow the work of the Evaluation Committee;

• Definition of the teaching body, development of the learning methodologies and pedagogical contents during the Staff Training Days mobility (London, 24-28 April 2016, Nordoff Robbins hosting);

• Creation of the structure of the Pilot Course, composed by 10 modules arranged and delivered by international equipes of teachers covering all MARS inherent subjects;

• Selection of the international students from applications, creation of tutoring groups and definition of the supervision process during the development of the course and internship;

• Launch of the Course with a mobility Pilot Seminar (Montespertoli, 5-15 July 2016, Prima Materia hosting), with the inclusion of two Palestinian students, refugees in Lebanon who cooperate with the partner NISCVT “Beit Atfal Assomoud”;

• Beginning of the Online Pilot Course in September based on the e-learning platform hosted on MARS website and use of distant-tuition techniques;

• Official conclusion of the first year of activity with interim reporting to the French National Erasmus Plus Agency and mid-term final budget covering eleven months from the beginning of the project under the EU grant.
