FIM: May Day message from President and GS

Dear Colleagues,
On this May Day, when we celebrate all workers and their contribution to society, we give our thanks to our colleagues in our health and care services and to other workers in all essential services.
This is an extremely difficult time for musicians but we know that their unions around the world, are working hard to protect them and to ensure that we have a vibrant and fully functioning live music industry when this pandemic is over.

Après deux nouvelles adhésions en début d'année 2020 (Association Orchestre à l'école et AFPC-EVTA France) et dans la continuité de l'élargissement de son projet associatif visant à capitaliser et redistribuer des ressources, à une meilleure interconnaissance et coopération entre les acteurs des pratiques artistiques, la PFI accueille aujourd'hui deux nouveaux adhérents ; La Cité de la Voix, confirmant et élargissant les liens de la PFI avec les pratiques vocales en Bourgogne Franche-Comté et Musique et Santé, avec qui la PFI renoue et renforce ainsi une relation de longue date.

NCCA’s Assistance Program for Cultural Workers Under the State of Calamity

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) will provide P5,000 of financial aid to artist and cultural workers displaced during the period of the enhanced community quarantine due to the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

EFA Survey: Festivals' needs and commitments

The European Festivals Association invites you to respond to this questionnaire in order to identify the needs of the sector, as well as to share best practices among you, the community. Your proposals will be highlighted in our communications and statements to political stakeholders on the EU level as well as other enabling institutions (in cooperation with more networks). They will also be directed through the EFFE Hubs and EFA collective members to stakeholders relevant in each country. Finally, they help us design EFA's actions on behalf of our wide community.
