Music is one of the best ways to share emotions, dreams, aims... and just as our traditions, our music is part of our identity. How can we live our roots through choral music? The International Choral Magazine asked this question to musicians from all over the world, from Finland to New Zealand, from Canada to Bulgaria, from the Philippines to Brazil. We added a musicological-psychological dimension to it with a very interesting article "Has “Whiteness” limited the imagination of western choral music?"

REMA opens its network to all early music organisations!

REMA is pleased to announce the official opening of its network to all organisations working in the field of early music. This decision, taken at the REMA General Assembly in Pavia on 25 May 2023, marks an important step in the development of the organisation. By opening its doors to all structures, the network hopes to encourage in-depth and collaborative reflection to promote and develop early music in all its richness.
EFN: 4th Annual Conference
The Conference programme (which will be published in detail soon) will include opportunities to hear about the situation for traditional arts in Ukraine, about traditional arts surviving in crisis, about cultural tourism (who does it benefit?) about Members’ own areas of work in special interest groups (such as artists, storytellers, national organisations and others) – and opportunities to discuss EFN’s future plans including the European Folk Day project.
