Arab Music Rostrum (AMR)
The last AMR was held March 25-26 1999 in Sidi Bou Said, at the Centre for Arab and Mediterranean Music. It was organized by the Tunisian Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the IMC, the Arab Academy of Music and the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU). In conjunction with the listening sessions, a seminar on the teaching of traditional music instruments took place.

A previous Rostrum had taken place in 1990, Amman, Jordan, in collaboration with the Arab Music Academy, and the assistance of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture, the Noor Al Hussein Foundation and the National Music Conservatory, Amman.
