'Sustainable futures for music cultures: Towards an ecology of musical diversity’ is a five year international research collaboration investigating ecosystems of nine music cultures, with the purpose of gaining understanding that will empower communities to forge musical futures on their own terms. The project, which is coordinated by the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane and where the International Music Council participates as industry partner, has recently its first newsletter published.
