For decades Myanmar was governed by a brutal military dictatorship. In 2011 that changed. Thousands of political prisoners were released and strict censorship laws relaxed. Today marks the first elections in the country since then. Melanie de Klerk spoke to some former political prisoners still fighting for democracy.
