IMC President at WOMEX 2008

IMC President Richard Letts had a busy schedule during his visit to the 2008 WOMEX in Seville, October 29 - 31. During a panel organised by IMC member mica (music information center austria), he discussed together with EMC Acting Secretary General Simone Dudt and mica Project Leader Helge Hinteregger the topic "music creators in the age of digital visibility".

This session that took place in the frame of the WOMEX conference on Friday 31 October 2008.
Richard Letts met with WOMEX executive director Gerald Seligman as well as with representatives of the African Music Export Office, Freemuse, the European Music Office, Future of Music Coalition. He also used the occasion to have talks with delegates of participating IMC members: Cameroon Music Council, IMZ, JMI. Last but not least, Dr. Letts had a meeting with the Cultural Department of the City of Seville to discuss avenues of cooperation with this UNESCO City of Music.
