Guidelines of the IMC International Music Fellow programme

Any individual can be nominated for the IMC International Music Fellow programme.  

Nominations can be put forward by any individual, group of individuals, organisation, NGO, public authority or private company.

Biographical information should highlight how the recipient fulfils a commitment to the IMC's Five Musical Rights.

Applications are accepted throughout the year. For recognition at the 5th IMC World Forum on Music in November 2013, applications should be sent by 15th August 2013 at the latest.

The review process usually takes 2 months. Nominations are reviewed by the IMC Directorate in consultation with the IMC Regional Music Councils.

Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

Once the Fellow has been accepted, payment of €1,000 or more must be submitted to IMC by the nominator(s) within 2 weeks. Payment instructions will be sent along with the notification of acceptance.

IMC will not pay travel costs to the World Forum on Music.

Should a Fellow be unable to attend, the certificate and pin will be posted to him/her.

Date and venue for the ceremony will be decided by IMC and local hosts of the Forum only.
