Results of 10th African Music Rostrum announced

The 10th African Music Rostrum was organised after an interruption of 10 years. The Rostrum was organized in the framework of the festival "Le Kolatier", held in Douala, Cameroon from 17 to 20 November 2010.

The jury of the competition has proclaimed the conclusions of its deliberations Saturday November 20, 2010 on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the Kolatier.

The TMAF program intends to help to promote the values of the African continent's music via the radio.

The jury considered 14 entries in 3 categories and selected the following compositions
 • Traditional music: “Julie” by Petit Genie (Benin)
• Experimental music: “Ougbe” by Fo Jean (Benin)
• Urban popular: “Tong Ning” by Cheuwwak Yamndeu Alain Barrière (Cameroun).

The Jury attributed a special prize of encouragement to Fe Mwen Reve by Nathalis Royce Mbumba (DR Congo).
