IMC launches Global Friends initiative

Do you enjoy musical diversity? 

Do you believe that music education should be available for everybody? 

Do you feel that music should play an important role in a country's development?

"Global Friends of the International Music Council" is a fundraising initiative devoted to support the International Music Council and its five regional music councils in different parts of the world in developing programmes to promote access to music for all and to empower musical artists.

Structured in different friendship levels for both private persons and institutions, it gives access to such benefits as printed and online publications or preferential rates for events of IMC and its regional music councils.

"This initiative is open to everybody who wishes to support us. By donating even a small amount, you can enable IMC to fulfill its mission and objectives and organise its activities across the globe, in close cooperation with its regional music councils", underlines Silja Fischer, Secretary General of the IMC. 

Donors can decide that 50% of their donation will be allocated directly to a regional music council of their choice.
