National Endowment for the Arts Names New Class of Jazz Masters

The multireedist and composer Anthony Braxton, the bassist and educator Richard Davis and the pianist and composer Keith Jarrett will be inducted as 2014 National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters, the endowment said on Thursday.
