Gedok announces competition winners
The prize winners of the International Competition for Women Composers 2008 have been announced. About a hundred women musicians from all over the world took part in the competition this year. A panel of five experts chose the prize winners. The International Competition for Women Composers is the most important competition for female composers in the German speaking world. This year the competition was for violoncello and up to four additional instruments. Press release
