The Rostrum travelled for its 50th anniversary session to Vienna where it was hosted by the ORF in cooperation with the International Music Centre (IMZ) and the Music Information Centre Austria (MICA).

Forum session: A new feature had been added to the Rostrum for its 50th session: two forum sessions gave delegates the opportunity of exchanging views and experiences, one dealing with the impact of Internet on their work as radio producers, the other one being dedicated to co-productions with music festivals.
